The Foundation holds a free dental clinic for the children and families. Due to its obvious need, this program will be held annually. |
2 additional Tsunami children are accepted into the program. These two children live in isolated areas and were never registered with the government or received assistance. This brings the total number of children who have received benefits from the Foundation to 103. |

The Foundation accompanies representatives from Child-Trac Foundation and UNICEF to administer psychological and educational tests to children sponsored by the Foundation. |

Ernie Halter, singer & songwriter from Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. plays a benefit concert at the Encore Café in Ao Nang beach. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the children. |
| May |
The Foundation holds its first 2 day overnight scout camp at the Krabi International Scout Camp. 92 children & guardians attend along with 24 volunteers and teachers. The children compete in educational, art & music & cooking contests. A field trip to an archeological museum and botanical gardens are the highlight of the weekend. |
For the opening of the new school year, the Foundation distributes sets of school uniforms, including formal uniforms, athletic uniforms, scout uniforms and shoes. |

The Foundation holds its first Foundation Day at the new Krabi Community Center. Over 150 are in attendance, including the Mayor of Krabi. |
| August |
The Foundation is awarded the number one Foundation for the tsunami affected provinces by the League of Foundations of Thailand, an organization under royal patronage of His Majesty the King. |
| September |
Director Robert Reynolds gives a speech to the Phuket Community Foundation on key success factors in operating a foundation in Thailand. |
The Foundation receives the award of top 3 foundations in Thailand From Office of Welfare Promotion, Protection and Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security by the Prime Minister. |
| October |
The second 2 day overnight scout camp is held at the Krabi International Scout Camp. The theme for the camp is protecting the environment, and the children visit a Department of Marine Biology Fishery and then clear the garbage from the Ao Nang beach front. |
| November |
Foundation staff visits homes of all families for “Home Visit Reports” which are produced bi-annually. These reports focus on physical condition of the homes and the family care the children are receiving.
Neighbors and local officials are contacted to increase the information network. |
